Express Welding was founded in 1983 by Duane & Patricia
Scheuren. In its first facility in Gladstone, MI, Express Welding
began as an OEM manufacturer of Pup Trailers and Truck Racks for the
logging industry. Two years later Express Welding moved to
one of the buildings in the former Harnischfeger complex in Escanaba,
MI. This is where Express Welding can still be found.
In 2005, Duane & Patricia's son, Jeff, came to work at Express Welding. Jeff
had recently received his Professional Engineer's License from Michigan.
With his PE license and Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Jeff was a
welcome addition.
Since then, Express Welding has developed several new products:
the NitroStinger; the Tandem Axle NitroStinger; the NitroSpreader;
a Detachable Lowboy trailer for towing behind a pick-up truck;
a telescopic, shipping container hauling trailer
with loading cranes; and several additional products for the heavy hauling
industry. For more information on Express Welding's products,
