The Express Beam Master is designed specifically for hauling Precast Prestressed Concrete Beams,
but can easily be adapted to haul any long, self-supporting load. The Express Beam Master Trailer is available in 3 different styles: The Basic, The Modular and The Mod-Plus. The Basic Beam Master is a 6-axle steerable trailer with a 3+3 axle configuration. The Modular Beam Master is the same as the Basic, except that it can be broken down into two 3-axle steerable trailers. with their own hydraulic system. The Mod-Plus Beam Master is the same as the Modular, except that each 3-axle steerable trailer can accept a 4th pin-on axle, creating a 4 axle steerable trailer. |
The Express Beam Master Trailer uses hydraulic cylinders to provide approximately 25° of steering of each direction. The steering cylinders are controlled with either a wired or wireless remote that plugs into the rear of the trailer. When the trailer is in the 6-axle configuration, each 3-axle unit can be steered independently, providing more precise control over the trailer. The wireless remote also allows steering to be controlled from a pilot vehicle. |
